Dream Catchers
A Native American Tale
A Children’s Summer Workshop
This workshop is for boys and girls aged 6 10 years
July 7 11, 2008
9:30am 3:30pm
Join us for a week of dance, art projects and creativity as we learn choreography and create costumes, props and sets for our unique version of this Native American theme to be performed in our own studio theater! Explore the story of the spider who helps bring the sun back to the people by capturing the sunlight on her sparkling web. Children will make and decorate their own individual dream catchers, study birds native to the Southwest United States, draw and paint their feathers and create their own cradle boards for dolls used in the production. The number of participants is limited to 18. Children will be grouped based upon age. Early registration is recommended to ensure your child’s participation.
