Adult Ballet Classes 2008-2009 Season
Thank you for your interest in Amherst Ballet. We are offering two levels of adult ballet this season.
On Monday nights from 7:00 – 8:00, a Beginning/Intermediate class will be taught for adults who have had no ballet training or are returning to classes after a long period of not dancing. Catherine Fair will be teaching this class.
On Thursday nights from 7:00 – 8:30, an Intermediate/Advanced class will be offered for adults who have had a significant amount of ballet training and would like to train with other adults. The class will be taught by new faculty member Sueann Townsend. Sueann brings a wealth of experience to this class; she’s danced and taught in New York, Las Vegas and Louisville Kentucky. Her areas of expertise include Classical and Contemporary Ballet and Modern Dance. She’s a wonderful instructor who brings a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to her teaching and we are delighted that she has joined our faculty.
Please see link to the registration form below. Adults may choose between a class card or registration for an entire session. Drop-ins are also welcome but it is more economical for you to buy a class card or register for a session. Please feel free to call us with any questions or concerns.
We are confident that you will find Amherst Ballet a pleasant environment for your study of ballet and am proud that we can offer our students a chance to dance on state of the art sprung dance floors; our lower studio will have a new dance floor by the time classes start in September.
