Instructions for submitting an Amherst Ballet scholarship application:
Amherst Ballet is pleased to be able to offer scholarships to students that demonstrate financial need. Scholarships are most often in the form of a work-trade, or in rare cases may be a monetary tuition discount or award.
To apply for a scholarship, all applicants must COMPLETELY fill out the appropriate application form. This may be downloaded by clicking on the file icon below:
Completed forms must be returned in a SEALED ENVELOPE to the front desk at Amherst Ballet, with any REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION, no later than 5:00pm on Monday, September 17th, 2018 in order for applications to receive consideration by the scholarship committee. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
Decisions regarding scholarship awards will be announced to recipients between Friday, September 21st and Monday, September 24th. If awarded a scholarship, you will asked to complete and return an ACCEPTANCE FORM, indicating that you accept the terms of your scholarship, to the front desk at Amherst Ballet BEFORE your scholarship can take effect. If you are awarded a scholarship, an acceptance form will be provided to you.
Students who are awarded a work-trade scholarship may begin working towards a discount on their tuition as soon as their completed acceptance form has been received by the front desk.
*PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SEPTEMBER TUITION WILL BE HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER MONTH DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR, AS SCHOLARSHIPS TAKE TIME TO AWARD AND TO TAKE EFFECT.
*IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTY PAYING YOUR BILL, YOU MUST CONTACT AMHERST BALLET TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LATE FEES IF COMMUNICATION IS NOT RECEIVED, AND ARRANGEMENTS MADE AHEAD OF TIME.
